BB+Crux: Codex design sheet

I've been thinking up this underground fighting ring in Crux and Bookbinder's world, discussing things with ~TheToshihiko - it would be a little like fightclub for magic users, only mafia-run with big cash prizes. For fun we've been designing what sort of attire they would wear in the ring and what "superheroish" alias they might adopt to protect their identities from the conduit.

Codex's design stems from practicality and what he hopes would interest the ladies. A muscle shirt under a garage-sale leather jacket for that greaser look to counteract his usual 1950's geek look and show off those book-lifting muscles, prescription sports goggles so he doesn't loose his glasses in the middle of a fight (which could be problematic for the myopic little bookworm!) Gloves to protect himself from the touch of a woman which might set off his curse and also be problematic in fight, and biker boots to boost his height. (poor guy's still only five feet) The pants were purely for style, more than likely bought for him by his beloved Ma one Christmas where they sat in the back of his closet until this brilliant idea occurred to him. The symbol on his bag is the Root Chakra, placed there for magical purposes with the help of Newt and his written magics.

The name Codex should be pretty obvious, considering Cecil's powers concerning books. ;3
