I pity Brian, but, on the one hand, he is fortunate that Raven only cut off his little toe. You can still walk without one of your toes. It's when they start cutting off thumbs and fingers that it begins to suck. It gets hard to function without those, especially the thumbs.

And Ethan is just so adorably delusional.
