Seder Dinner at Dan's by Bilious Seder Dinner at Dan's by Bilious
This is probably only funny to me. Or anyone who's been to a Seder Dinner and knows what Watchmen is. X)

Seder Dinner at Dan's house- I figure he'd probably invite at least Laurie and Hollis. X)

For the "Easter" Contest for the *Watchmen-Fanclub - Dan's Jewish, so I asked if Passover counted. They said yes, so there you have it. X) HEY MAN. The Last Supper was technically Jesus and pals celebrating Pesach! :headbang:

Watchmen belongs to that beard with a guy somewhere in it.

edit: Quick explanation for all you Goyim out there: I copied the ceremony parts out of the Haggadah and Rorschach is a dirty hobo and there's a tradition where the adults hide the afikoman and then the children find it and ransom it back for five bucks. I suppose that's mostly what you need to know. For more information, check out the Two-Minute Haggadah: [link]

Some Christian denominations (like mine) still celebrate the Passover too. Probably a little differently, but still.
Also, "Watchmen belongs to that beard with a guy somewhere in it" is probably my favorite thing about this.

I'm fairly confident this is one of the funnier things I've ever seen. Being Jewish, it's a lot funnier than it is offensive.

Dan was always my favorite because he had no game and was Jewy...so I related.
Ozymandias would have been invited, but he doesn't drink and is a vegetarian. And had CP on his old ass PC.
And I totally agree on the Easter/Passover thing. WHERE YOU THINK YOU GOT IT FROM, POPE? YES. THE JEWS.

Surprisingly, I laughed a lot, mostly because I love traditional ethics, and my best friend is a Watchman freak XD Mr. Angry Man was pretty awesome sneaking by them all though :XD:
I also now remember what that bread was called in a piece I was looking at a bit ago ^^

HahahaYES, Rorschach would SO rule at the finding ofthe Afikomen. XD (oh you know he would so not bother to bargain it back to Dan. "Never compromise. Not even in the face of prolonging the Seder."

Ahahahaha that's quite the compliment! XD I'm glad you enjoyed! <33

I'm only half jewish, but we've always celebrated the main holidays so it's just not spring without Passover. X) I really do like the fact that it's not about celebrating what happened to the Egyptians and that there is the whole lowering of the wine glass in honor of those who perished. ):

Also I saw this really interesting thing on the History channel explaining how all those "miracles" happened scientifically! It all comes down to volcanic activity and noxious gasses oxidizing (ironizing?) the waters to turn them red and killing all the fish and all the frogs leaving the water as a result and the flies that came with all the dead fish and the gases that escaped through the water making the carbon dioxide fog that killed the wealthy first-born egyptian sons who had special low-to-the-ground beds and all of that. Apparently something very very similar happened in the 1980's (I forget where atm)! I really recommend checking it out, it's quite fascinating! Whether you believe in God or not, acts of nature certainly are "acts of God" and I found the whole thing really fascinating from a historian standpoint! Sorry to babble I'm all atwitter with new facts. XD

it's odd hearing someone so excited about such things, i'm so used to being cynical about all these holidays. :) you see, in Israel they shove these things so forcefully down your throat that it's hard not to grow sick and disgusted with this tradition crap... So i have to say my fave thing about Pessah is the 3 week vacation. burning bread is evil and wasteful, and that's just what they do here. pisses me right off, along with many other things.

There are all kinds of scientific theories on this subject - ebbing tides, or a huge tzunami elsewhere on earth that made the sea retreat in that specific place, etc. they're always interesting. :)
