ARRG IT IS DONE. Oh, Cecil. It all comes down to girlz. Sorry that the file's so damn big, I'm sure it's worth the loading wait. X)
Script by *AstroCrush The Colosseum belongs to: *kilojara16 Iris belongs to: =kousetsukitsune Billy and Cecil, in all their mess, belong to me.
I've developed stories to further *TheColosseum's plot, so that there's more to follow than just the matches. I want to go beyond the tournament and show more, to showcase more of the characters who've appeared in Colosseum, and because I'd really like to see more of them
Also, these are comics that are going to weave together, like small pictures adding up to a bigger picture. And believe me... it's going to be a really BIG picture.
The sad part is... I actually came up with those pick-up lines. Those were the BEST I could come up with XD
The grin on his face when he says "chouette" is almost creepy. Though does give a cool look to the character.
Also, not often we see a character with actually proper french that doesn't get garbled in translation(I'm french canadian, so french's my native tongue. Of course, saying you're french canadian means that if you're not from Quebec/Montreal city in the province of Quebec, means that you probably might as well come from "Redneck county").
Then, the fact I'm french canadian is probably why I find some of the character's expression amusing, since we're more prone to swear in "bastardized frenglish"(yes, I said frenglish) here than french proper <.<;
XDDD I had my french proof-read by some french Canadian friends! I only speak a little bit of french-french, not enough to really count, but enough to understand the grammar to fake it. XD Cecil on the other hand is French-American. His parents were immigrants and they speak French at home, but he has a habit of using it as much as possible to seem "cool". Because Cecil is a douche. So glad you enjoyed! This strip was really fun to make. X)
If I can asks, where did his parents emigrate from? Mostly a bit of a pet question for me, since Maine(amongst other states) used to be a place where a lot of french canadians emmigrated to in the past ^^
Though I assume by his manners that they are more of a french-french origins than a french-canadian one... because, well, compared to french proper, french canadians(especially from Quebec), can be sorta like the Rednecks of francophony at times*
chouette! ah man, cecil is just too old school cool. cecil rocks in this, not because of the jacket but im sure he doesnt realise that. its just great to see a darker side to him.
