Took a nail file to my old tablet nib now that I'm more confident that new ones will be coming in the mail any day now and managed to finish this old old thing up real quick. I realize at night he probably would be UP TO OTHER THINGS but I guess he was just working overtime.

You can tell I had lost my patience with this one and just did that chibi version. XD

Rain, sleet or snow... he could work for the post office! If he wasn't, you know, a little crazy.

Meanwhile, nail file to tablet nib? How does that help (if it does...)?

Well, the thing had worn down so it was flat but at an angle and it didn't work right when I tried to use it- lines would spontaneously cut short, wouldn't go where I wanted them to go, and I had to press super hard for it to register at all, which made the problem worse because I kept wearing down the nib even more. Once I realized I could pull it out with my teeth, I took a little metal nail file and just softened all the edges and flattened it and made it into a soft round end again. It's not the best, I'm excited for my new nibs to arrive (hopefully today!) But it was so much more functional than when it was all worn flat.

Hmm, my tablet hasn't been acting up to par, either. I wonder if I should try replacing the nib, too. It's either that or buy a new tablet and those things are expensive. >_<
